Mental Wellbeing Policy

At Allstars Pickleball, we believe that mental wellbeing is just as important as physical health. We are committed to creating an environment where both children and staff feel safe, supported, and valued.

Our commitment to children

  • Sessions are designed to be fun, inclusive, and encouraging, helping children feel confident and connected.

  • Effort and progress are always recognised, supporting self-esteem and resilience.

  • Activities are delivered in a child-centred way, allowing every participant to learn at their own pace.

  • Coaches promote teamwork, kindness, and respect, building positive relationships both on and off the court.

Our commitment to staff

  • We support staff wellbeing by providing a safe and respectful workplace.

  • Training and guidance are offered to ensure staff feel confident in their role.

  • Staff are encouraged to seek support if they are feeling stressed, overwhelmed, or concerned about safeguarding matters.

  • We promote open communication and a culture where everyone’s voice is valued.

Safeguarding and wellbeing in practice

  • Any concerns about a child’s or staff member’s wellbeing will be taken seriously and addressed promptly in line with our safeguarding policy.

  • Where necessary, we will work with schools, parents/carers, or external agencies to ensure appropriate support is provided.
